This awesome little car puts a smile on your face every time you drive it! There aren’t too many cars that can give you the same pure driving sensation as something this small, nimble and close to the ground, all without breaking the speed limit -haha. It gets more attention and thumbs up than just about any other classic car I have owned.
The '64 Healey has a known history and the previous caretaker had owned it for 30 plus years. It has its original, numbers matching 1098cc engine which has done approx 300 miles since a rebuild (rebuild was done many years ago, but with plenty of old receipts and paperwork to show, plus old registration papers, receipts and notes for many replacement parts and repairs over the years. Solid floors, frame, sheetmetal with no rust whatsoever.
Nicely painted inside and out in 2-pack ‘Champion Red’
Complete 12v conversion with new wiring loom
New battery
New Electronic ignition conversion
New ‘classic style’ stereo/media player tucked up under the dash
All lights, gauges and electrics working
Original Moto-Lita steering wheel
Nice original interior in excellent condition with no rips or tears.
Has a clip on tonneau cover (not a fold up, soft top) so is a ‘fine weather’ car, however soft tops or hardtops are available new/used at a reasonable cost if wanted.
Wind up windows and pull door handles (unlike earlier models)
Boosted Disc front brakes which work well
Widened original steel wheels with New tires all round plus original spare and jack in the boot.
Currently on non transferrable, NSW Historic Registration. Can help new owner with that process if desired.
