For Sale, 2003 Smart car Pulse. This vehicle is in Good condition with minor scratches as you may expect for any vehicle of this age. l am a qualified mechanic with my own workshop. l have carried repairs to this car including general service ( changing engine oil and filter etc) . Replaced front brake pads. Inspection cleaning and adjustment of rear brakes. Replacement of Crank Angle Sensor. The vehicle was suffering from cutting out after 5 minutes of running. I found that the Sam Module (similar to Body Control Module) was water damaged, a common fault. I have replaced Sam Module with a tested secondhand unit (mercedes quote for unit is $3000.00). I found that the water had entered via the front windscreen seal. The windscreen has been resealed so this has fixed the common fault. This car drives extremely well. This has a 6 speed automatic transmission or can be driven with tiptronic shift. Fuel economy is between 4.5 lt per 100 km highway use to 6.7 per 100 km urban use. I have carried out the repairs to this car and believe it is very reliable. I have traveled around 600 kms since repairs and can not fault the car.
