Description

Just fresh from estate where it sat for the last 26 years. Beautiful, and rare, original 1959 MORGAN 4/4 ROADSTER just out of storage. The body and interior are in very good original condition, with no visible damage excepting with cracking & peeling to the enamel paint in spots as the pictures show. This ’59 model comes with hard to find wire wheel option and the side-valve 1172 cc Ford 100E engine with a Ford three-speed gearbox. The engine produces 36 bhp. It shows the Fergus Imported Cars, New York, NY tag and their Stock No. 21939. In the cabin, looking through the wood trimmed steering wheel, the original Stewart Warner odometer shows just 2,156 miles. Lights & turn signals not working and wiring needs attention. In running condition but floor pedals are stuck from sitting and need to be freed up for road operation. Very good original survivor or you can restore to mint whatever you choose. Note: Does NOT have a title and will be sold on "Bill of Sale" only. Deposit of $500 is due upon completion of the auction with the balance by bank transfer within 3 business days. Please bid only if you are serious as I am tired of non-paying bidders who spoil good auctions. International bidders are welcome to bid if they are prepared to pay extra shipping costs related to shipping overseas. Can arrange shipping to most ports in UK or Europe for a competitive rate as well as other foreign destinations. Message me if you have any questions about shipping. This vehicle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel the listing prior to its scheduled ending date. Thanks for looking
