Description
DESCRIPTION
This Tiger Mark II is truly a survivor, as it retains a majority of its original equipment. Would be an great platform to restore to new condition or drive as is, without the worries of driving with that pristine paint job being exposed to the elements. Ultimately, it will be your choice. My plan was to bring it back to like-new condition. Unfortunately, that plan was cut short due to other commitments.
Equipped with the original factory Ford 289 cubic inch V8 engine (engine # 1689-A11KK) 4-speed manual transmission, and rear end. Also, it has several LAT options that are currently installed on the Tiger; Aluminum Alloy Wheels (LAT 70), Fiberglass Hood (LAT 79), Aluminum Valve Covers (LAT 80), and Edelbrock Intake Manifold with Holley Four Barrel Carburetor (LAT 1).
This Sunbeam Tiger has documented 51,929 original miles on the car. Garage kept while in my care and limited exposure to the streets of Los Angeles. Exterior body, and paint is in fair condition (considering it has over 50 years on the original paint), and the Interior is in good overall condition.
I do have ownership history on the Tiger with a folder from the prior owners with various documents and receipts. The Tiger is listed in The International Registry of Sunbeam Tigers, managed by Norman Miller, and has been TAC certified by the Sunbeam Tiger Owners Association. (Certificate of Authenticity,# 454).
There are many spares parts that will go with the car too. The original steel hood, one hardtop. A set of steel wheels, and spare, one bumper set (F/R), original cast iron Ford 2 barrel intake manifold, (sorry no carburetor) original valve covers, new carpet set, and new headliner kit.
Please note: All information contained in this offering is deemed to be correct, however, Potential Buyers are encouraged to perform their own investigations and or inspection.
Mark II Tigers have tremendous upside potential in value. This vehicle is advertised locally, and we reserve the right to end the auction early. If you may have further questions or would like additional pictures, please do not hesitate in contacting me at 310709.9307 via text, voice message or through the eBay message portal.
Thank You!
