1968 TR250 for sale
Excellence in performance and handling - runs perfectly and is a joy to drive.
The motor was rebuilt 6000 miles ago in 1983 (by Ron Parker in Montreal, the same person who used to work on Gilles Villeneuve's cars before he headed to Formula 1). The engine is perfectly balanced, has a 3/4 Race Cam, a modified head with stainless steel flow benched valves with 32 angles notched in each for optimum flow. Customized double springs in each valve. With the Cam you can drive in everyday traffic at slower speeds but can really move when you want to open it up. It is estimated to be in the neighbourhood of 160+ HP. This body and engine of this car were fully restored back in 1983 then put into storage in 1984 for the next 26 years. Many upgrades and the addition of the Surrey top last year. (Fiberglass from Revington TR in the UK.) . There is no rust on this car. . The car runs at 75mph at 3000 RPM in 4th overdrive, Handling is fantastic on this car as the suspension is tight.
I have the Professional Appraisal from 4 years ago before I added the Surrey top: $45,900
