Description
This 1960 Triumph TR3A is finished in white over red and powered by a replacement 2,138cc inline-four mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive. This TR3A has been driven 3,400 miles since its subsequent completion and is offered with a hard top, new soft top, side curtains, tonneau cover, stock wheels, recent records, and a clean title. Everything was done by the previous owner. I`ve bought the car in 2014 and put only 2500 miles on it
Minilite wheels wear P195/65 R15 Pirelli P6 tires, and a set of stock steel wheels with tires is also included.
A painted steel hard top is also included but unfortunately I don`t have any photo with it
Red seat covers are complemented by light grey piping and fresh black carpeting. Seat belts have been added, and a zippered tonneau cover is shown below. The red dashboard is set off by a black 3-spoke banjo steering wheel and Jaeger/Lucas instruments.
The overdrive is operated by a switch located on the far left side of the dash, and 4-way hazard lights have been added.
The 2,138cc Triumph four is equipped with twin SU carburetors.
Other engine parts included heavy-duty pushrods and tappets, rebushed rocker arms, a Viton rear main seal, and a lightened flywheel. An alternator, Pertronix ignition, gear reduction starter, spin-on oil filter conversion, and aluminum radiator were installed along with a Bell stainless steel exhaust system. Shifting is through a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
The chassis was media blasted and powder coated, the underside was finished to match the exterior, and the suspension and braking systems were overhauled.
