Triumph TR3 A

For those wanting to purchase their own Christmas gift, I present this pristine 1961 Triumph TR3A. This TR3A is not a concourse show car, however; is FAR BETTER than a driver. This was the first car that I bought in 1969 for $1,200, not this particular car, and not for that price! Turns heads wherever she goes and is a pleasure and fun to drive. Engine, cylinders, pistons, bearings, head & valves to include carburetors were rebuilt by an extremely reputable British Machine/Repair Shop. Abacus Racing in Norfolk, Virginia. She is negative ground and is equipped with Pertronix electronic ignition, coil and wire set. All work was done in July of 2021 as well as all any concerns with the car were addressed at a cost of over $7K. The car runs and drives as NEW, with absolutely NO issues. Absolutely NO rust anywhere, on the body or the chassis. This TR3A has been accident free during it's life. She has a NEW top, tonneau, boot and carpet kit installed. I have three side curtains, however; they need to be rebuilt. I never drove the car in poor weather so never felt the need. I have more money invested in this car than I am asking, but if you have collector cars, you do it for the love of the machine and not the money. I will provide all receipts for work done on the car to the buyer. I am moving out of the area, therefore am selling several of my "toys", car in located is Chesapeake, Virginia. This TR3 is an EXCELLENT example of a classic British sports car.
