BODY
-This car was originally delivered to Los Angeles and was registered Arizona before being brought back to California in 2008. It virtually had no rust and is very clean. All the panels were removed during the rebuild and no rust was found on either the panels or the inner body sheet metal. The battery tray was cut out and replaced because of battery leakage. The only spot of rust that exists on the car is in the forward left corner of the drivers floor pan. It was so minor that it was not worth cutting out the pan to eliminate.
-Previous accident damage: During rebuilding it was discovered that at one time the car must have suffered minor front sheet metal damage. The hood had been replaced with a TR4A hood. You can conclude this because the 3 emblem holes for the TR4A badge existed (now welded up) and the holes for the TRIUMPH letter badging (TR4 cars) do not exist (I left them off because I do not like waxing around them). The front sheet metal valance behind the bumper was at one time patched with bondo so it was cut out and a new reproduction sheet metal piece was welded in. There was no frame damage and both front fenders are original. No rear end damage to the trunk sheet metal or rear fenders was noticed. All body numbers found on car, 15999-CT match (per BMIHT certificate).
