Description
1976 TRIUMPH TR-6
Being offered at no reserve
This TR-6 is a clean, virtually rust free car from North Carolina. I bought it from the original owner and it seems it has not been on the road for 20 plus years.
This is a perfect candidate for restoration and a great base to start with.
There is absolutely no rust that I can find anywhere in the typical TR-6 locations. Over the rear tail lights, around the front headlights at the bottoms, rockers, the trunk, all clean, no rust. The drivers side floor has surface rust and the passenger side has surface and a couple of less than 1/8" holes.
The dash pad has no cracks and is solid.
The bad news, it has been sitting and the engine will not turn by hand.
The good news: The TR-6 is the body work is minimal for a restoration.
There are photos of the new parts for the restoration, which include:
New convertible top, strapping, rivets, and door felts for installation. $350.00
New visors. $90.00
New floor under felt kit for carpeting. $100.00
New passenger crash pad that needs replacing. $100.00
New battery hold down assembly. $18.00
Various new packs of parts and hardware, see the blue and white envelopes. $100.00
Drive belts. $21.00
Two new floor mats. $38.00
Four new headlamps. $100.00
Chrome windshield strip. $5.00
Radiator cowling. $80.00
Total extra new parts about $1000.00
I had planned on restoring it but I have far too much ambition than time.
