Presented here for your consideration and inspection at NO RESERVE, is this 1974Triumph TR-6 turned out in the original brilliant white exterior with acontrasting black interior, soft top and tonneau. This is an originalexample that has not been restored, but rather maintained as anoccasional driver for nice days and special events.
The speedometer shows 72,000 miles, which, from all indicators, isactual mileage. Recent ongoing reconditioning includes a completedisassembly and reseal on the engine, new radiator, carburetors rebuilt.seats recovered, a new soft top, battery and red line tires. The enginehas also been detailed & upgraded with a polished aluminum valvecover.
Enhancements also include a custom, black vinyl covered, hard top, new black vinyl top, newblack tonneau, bumper mounted road lights and a throaty sounding Ansafour outlet performance exhaust system. The interior boasts recoveredseats in the original black with white inserts, new door panels andcarpet.
The car starts, runs, drives, stops and handles very well. With the hardtop removed you experience the authentic wind in your hair exhilarationof a true British sports roadster.
The 4 speed manual gearbox is quiet and shifts well, clutch operatessmoothly and the independent rear suspension functions as it should.
The body panel fit is very good and the body, being from the Southwest is solid and rust free.
