Description

Relisting due to a non-paying eBayer
1974 Triumph TR6 with 4 speed manual, 119,xxx miles and in very good condition.
This is a very good driver quality car that is reliable enough to be used everyday. This car is an older restoration that has been well kept.It is gorgeous, fun and reliable!
Body, paint, interior and top are all in very good to excellent shape. The top has one small pinch hole due to being opened incorrectly.
Wheels have been recently refurbished and the tires are almost brand new Hankooks (less than 1,000 miles).Wheels and tires look fantastic.
Frame and chassis is very solid.Car is free from rust in almost all of the common places where you find rust on these cars.Rockers, trunk, battery area, crucifix brace are all very solid.Floor pans are solid and there is evidence of a small patch of rust (3" to 4" +/-) that was repaired sometime in the past. Detailed pics are provided in the links at the end of the ad.
Electricals have been sorted out and all instrumentation works. Cockpit, instrumentation and comfort controls all work well.
Steering, suspension and differential have all been sorted through recently at significant expense. All six u-joints have been replaced. Differential has been rebuilt. New axles. New transmission rear seal.
Brand new stainless steel exhaust system.I only replaced it because we had to R&R the exhaust anyway to do the differential work, so I decided to upgrade to this gorgeous system.
Bumpers are straight and chrome is very good and presentable. Some hazing is evident due to age but they are very presentable this doesn't detract from the beauty of the car.Luggage rack is similar.
Engine runs great and is VERY strong. It is reliable and starts right up every time.It started right up after being stored for about 2 months for the winter. It shifts smoothly and pulls like a freight train through all gears. There is some exhaust smoke typical for these cars and it seems to consume about ½ quart of oil per fill up.Compression was tested about 800 miles back with numbers ranging from 105 to 120.
In summary, this is a beautiful car in very good condition that is reliable and a blast to drive!
The links below include many more pics, including the underside / chassis. I also have a short video of the car starting and running.
I encourage third party inspections. It is my desire to represent the car fairly and that there are no surprises for the new owner.
Please contact Ron if you are interested at 770-616-3300. Call, text or email is fine.

I've attached a link to a web album that contains lots of pictures of the undercarriage and trunk area to demonstrate the condition of the frame, floor pan, rockers, etc. as it relates to potential rust and corrosion. In addition to the undercarriage pictures, the web album includes a short video of me starting the car so you can hear it running.
