Description
This car was stood in a garage unused for 16 years until its owner passed away, at which point I purchased it as a project. Since I've owned it, £1000's have been spent on it modernising it and sorting it out including a full engine rebuild.
The engine rebuild involved:
- Lightened flywheel
- Balanced Crank
- Oversized Pistons
- Skimmed Head and Block
- Stage 2 Cam
- New Clutch
- New DCOE Webber Twin 40 Carbs
It has also had a new bespoke exhaust made from scratch that includes a repack-able silencer for track days and the like costing over £700 alone, new alloy radiator, new Protech front adjustable shock absorbers and springs, new TRS 4 point race harness's, new front headlights, new vented front discs, pads and callipers.
The wheels were replaced for alloys as seen pictured however original period four spoke Ford wheels (also pictured) are available to be purchased separately if wanted *Please Note these are NOT included in the sale of the car*.
Original front wings were removed and all holes filled prior to bodywork and professional re-spray being done last year.
Engine has only covered approximately 150miles since its rebuild so is still well within run-in mileage and would recommend the car is put on a dyno after approximately 1000 miles in order to gain optimum performance and running.
Standard 4 speed Ford gearbox, with Limited Slip differential.
This car has had no expense spared with costs in excess of £7000 and im sure whoever purchases this bargain car will have a lot of fun and enjoyment from it.
Cash on collection only, however can be delivered up to 100miles at a cost, viewing recommended.
