Description
Naturally Aspirated N/A Cosworth YB receipt for £5,690 + £1,000 to buy the engine + carbs + inlet manifold + ignition system + rolling road, must be easily £7,000 of engine.
45 DCOE webers
Woosner forged pistons
Solid lifters, duplex valve springs, long dick valves, new valve guides
Fully ported head, inlet and exhaust
Brise High torque starter.
Brise alternator - mush better then the old Lucas LRA 100, this won't get to hot and fail like to old Lucas one and is smaller and lighter.
Kent Cams - 300 deg duration
Vernier pulleys
New steel flywheel
Fully balanced
Built by Lawrence Hodson - in my opinion the best for old school fords - a really superb engine
Custom S/S exhaust - cost £1,750
Fully set up on rolling road, runs perfectly.
approx. 800 miles since engine built
Sierra 5 speed box, rebuilt 5,000 miles ago, works perfectly.
Cosworth LSD - recently dismantled and checked and was found to be in excellent condition.
Wilwood 4 pot calipers on the front.
RAC spec roll bar.
Brand new Yoko AO48 tyres on all 4 wheels, only 200 miles or so.
Side screens + wind deflectors (wind deflectors not currently on car)
Boot box cover
Half hood supplied by westfield.
Special boot bag from Soft bits for sevens - really good at storing luggage on a long journey. (£260 I think)
New carpet set.
Cigarette lighter socket under dash for sat nav or anything else.

Fully sorted, needs nothing doing.
Made 210bhp at wheels on rolling road, goes like a rocket but still tractable and easy to drive.
Very good condition for age, but it is still a 15 year old car, so expect some blemishes to the body, but over all very tidy.
I built the car originally and sold it to a friend of mine who kept it for a couple of years, he then sold it to someone else and I then bought it back about 6 years ago.
Spent a fortune on it, must have cost me 25K in all.
Selling due to starting a new project.
